Eek

Something serious happened within my family and our living situation has changed drastically, so I won’t have access to the Internet/computer for I don’t know how long.

Don’t worry, though: No one has died, and that’s the important part! (Or at least I like to think so)

So yeah, just wanted to give a quick heads up :).

18th!

Now playing: The Arcade Fire - Ocean Of Noise

I went to my friends eighteenth birthday party last night. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. The music/DJ was great, everyone ended up dancing at some stage, funny/cute/touching speeches were made and the food was nice. She also invited her family, and her older relatives were dancing a lot too!

I am usually not much of a dancer at parties I go to… But maybe they were just bad parties :P. I danced a lot. I discovered that no ever gets tired of The Robot! It was a great night, and everyone looked either dashing or gorgeous.

Nothing much else… Except my manicurist earlier that day spoke exactly like Fran Fine from The Nanny.

“So, what’s the occasion?”
“My friends 18th,”
“Oh, that’s faaaaabulous!”

There’s just something about getting a manicure that makes me so very happy! I keep finding an excuse to admire her handiwork, heh.

Two guys from my drama class got into acting gigs! One in a short film (I haven’t watched it yet, and don’t know what it’s called… But I’m excited for him!) and another in a short film and a TV series soon to air on on a minor channel. Cool. They really deserve it, they work really hard for it! It makes me feel like an underachiever… I have no real desire to get into TV or film. Eeehhh.

Biting sarcasm

Now playing: Eberg - Inside Your Head

When I’m tired, I often resort to biting sarcasm when responding to people. While it makes some people laugh, I almost always feel bad about it afterwards.

The problem? Less than a week into the new school year, I am already feeling dead tired, while Dad has taken to walking around flicking light switches on and off and watching TV as a way of trying to go to sleep (He has insomnia). I am coming to school wishing I was actually in bed, snuggling under the covers and getting some shut eye.

I am going to be less sarcastic when I’m tired (At least in the particularly biting fashion I resort to when I’m feeling dead) even if it kills me! It’s getting to be a bad habit. I will do it! No more Miss Biting Sarcasm When I Feel Tired from me.

This’ll be a fun challenge! I can’t wait to start!!!

Okay… That was very sarcastic. But I’ll get better next time, I promise. :D

(Ack so cool! I just love things like these. Those quiet moments.)
