I think that it’s great that you’re out there supporting the rights of others. More people should be doing the same. Not be so ignorant about all sorts of other topics either.

Aw, that’s really great that you’re so vocal about gay rights. It is kind of weird that people would think you’re gay, though. I mean, every gay guy has at least one die-hard female friend, so it only makes sense they’d feel strongly about such things. At least it doesn’t bother you what people think.

I agree with you completely. I mean, of course I want my friends to be happy, and if its gay marriage they want I’ll go and help support them. Doesn’t mean I’m personally classified there.

I couldn’t agree with you more about how people can quickly assume things about you that are simply not true. Take me for example. I am a fashion enthusiast and love looking at different looks and pieces. Am I in any way about to fork out $1000 for a bag that looks nice or for a statement piece that I love? NOPE.

I really don’t understand why it is that people who are straight can’t be involved in gay rights without being tagged as gay. Having gay friends can make you get involved, having gay family members can make you get involved. It’s stupid to judge people on what they stand up for.

I used to have issues with people thinking I was a lesbian because of my thoughts & feelings regarding gay rights. But now that I’m married (to a man!:) those comments just kind of disappeared.

People always assume things…but when people assume they make and ass out of you and me…so just keep being yourself and sticking up for what you believe is right and that is all that matters.

I don’t follow the gay rights and I guess its because I am a Christian and yes, I had an confusion with myself between boys and girls when I was a teenager. Everyone has an opinion.

People spend too much time assuming things when 9 times out 10 they are totally wrong. I’m not a full on supporter but I’m all for gay rights - they are people and deserve the same rights as heterosexual couples do. I admire you for what you are doing.
