Nooooo!

I had a really scary dream in which I sat all of my VCE exams a month early and had a nervous breakdown in the examination room because I had all of my exams in a row and couldn’t remember anything. It was, well, a nightmare.

And then I ended up failing all of them. And that was the end. My only consolation is, uh… That definitely won’t happen in real life! Nope nope nope…

A photo I took of my cousin. Aww! She is very photogenic. I take masses of photos of her.

Sharpies and pop art. (In relation to one another!)

My perfect tattoo literally came to me in a dream. This morning, I woke up and I had an exact idea of what I wanted my future tattoo to look like because I was dreaming about it. Strange! I sketched it before I lost it.

Speaking of drawing stuff, I had my first art class yesterday. My teacher? AWESOME. He is SO COOL. I am going to adore art this year, and hopefully do well in it. I already have a vague idea for my final piece- Exploring identity.

Maybe it’s just me, but I get really excited when someone recommends something to me. Especially music. It’s like, cool. I want to know why it makes you happy/feel that way/enthusiastic! I really like people.

My posts have no substance lately. It’s like I’ve lost the ability to think about subjects for long periods of time…! (It’s happened just in time for school)

The new Sharpie Minis are very cool, and vibrant! When I draw stuff with them, they make me think “pop comic book art”, and they give everything that addictive pop art look that is good for inhaling.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

I submitted my photography portfolio the other day. In all honesty, my passion for it has dulled a bit. I realise now that I wasn’t really that serious about photography as a career, but I still like it a lot as an art. Next year is pretty cool- we have one big arts class, and we each go off and do whatever medium we want! Awesome. I can’t wait.

Well. Actually… I love portraiture so much. Black and white portraiture has stolen my sooouul! Unfortunately, I have an extreme lack of willing subjects. Well, actually, I have an extreme lack of subjects who have the right look I’d like to photograph. I’m really picky! So, I’ll probably do painting/drawing/sculpture next year. Speaking of drawing, JaJa inc. is going really well. I’ve submitted about 5-7 designs for t-shirts, and they seem to like them a lot.

I don’t want to jinx it, but I’m thinking of doing a written section or something. Opinion pieces, articles, reviews on books and CD’s etc. I want to, but I always seem to run out of time. Arrgh.

I had a dream in which there was a game show, but it was hosted by dinosaurs. They looked like the cute characters from Hello Kitty, except they were in… Dinosaur form. One of the dinosaurs was dressed in a red dress, a lot like The Woman In The Red Dress from The Matrix. I don’t remember any of the (human) contestants winning anything. They just pressed their buzzers and said things like “Four squared!” and “True!”. What! I don’t even like Hello Kitty. I don’t watch game shows. (However, I did like The Matrix)

Had a weird dream last night.

A friend that I go to drama class with on Saturdays asked me to do a talk at her Catholic school about broccoli. I said yes. We went to her school, which was just one very big muddy oval. Lots of boys that looked the same played a game that required the players to kick a soccer ball into a basketball hoop. I started painting one of them who stood still for me, but I only painted his uniform and not his face/body.

I went back home and watched Opera, and Patrick Wolf was performing Tristan. At the end of his song, the crowd (That looked like the girls from Calendar Girls many times over) shouted with him: “My name is Tristan, and I am alive!”. One of them said “I love you George Clooney!” in a fangirlish sort of way, and Patrick said “I love you too,”. Opera was dancing through the whole song, and Patrick started putting on bright yellow and pink make-up on.
